  • Position Summary

    The Student Liaison serves as a key point of contact for students throughout their training journey at Skyborne Airline Academy. This role is responsible for providing exceptional administrative support while fostering a welcoming, engaging, and inclusive student experience. The Student Liaison builds positive relationships with students, encourages participation in academy activities, and helps create a supportive community that promotes student wellbeing, engagement, and success.

    This position requires excellent communication skills, strong organizational abilities, and a proactive approach to student support and campus engagement.

    Key Responsibilities

    Student Support & Engagement

    • Serve as a primary point of contact for student inquiries, concerns, and day-to-day support.
    • Build positive relationships and establish rapport with students from diverse cultural backgrounds.
    • Promote student wellbeing by maintaining regular communication and identifying opportunities to increase engagement.
    • Encourage participation in academy programs, clubs, and social activities.
    • Track student participation and engagement in campus events and activities.
    • Assist in welcoming new students and helping them integrate into academy life.

    Event Coordination

    • Plan, coordinate, and actively participate in student engagement activities.
    • Organize and support wellness initiatives such as the academy Run Club.
    • Coordinate celebrations recognizing multicultural events and cultural awareness initiatives.
    • Assist with student appreciation events, holiday celebrations, and other community-building activities.
    • Promote upcoming events through various communication channels and personally invite students to participate.
    • Gather student feedback to continuously improve engagement programs.

    Administrative Support

    • Answer and direct incoming telephone calls professionally.
    • Respond to student inquiries via phone, email, and in person.
    • Provide administrative support to the Student Services department.
    • Maintain accurate records of student engagement, attendance at events, and participation metrics.
    • Assist with scheduling, filing, data entry, and document management.
    • Support other academy departments by answering calls and directing inquiries as needed.
    • Assist with preparing reports and tracking student engagement initiatives.

    Customer Service

    • Deliver exceptional customer service to students, staff, and visitors.
    • Maintain confidentiality when handling student information.
    • Resolve routine student concerns or refer issues to the appropriate department.
    • Foster a positive, inclusive, and welcoming campus environment.

    Qualifications

    Required

    • High school diploma or equivalent.
    • Previous experience in customer service, administration, hospitality, education, or student services.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams).
    • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
    • Professional, approachable, and positive attitude.

    Preferred

    • Experience coordinating events or community engagement activities.
    • Experience working in an educational or training environment.
    • Experience working with individuals from diverse cultural backgrounds.

    Working Conditions

    • Primarily office-based with regular interaction throughout the academy campus.
    • Occasional evening or weekend work may be required to support student events and academy activities.
    • Requires standing, walking, and participation in outdoor and campus events.

    • Salary $50,000 to 55,000 annually
